I know many people think of video games as a waste of time, but hearing music from the MMORPGs I’ve played in the past transport me to another world and I have fond memories of exploring.

I’m listening to the theme from Windurst (FFXI) right now and suddenly I’m running around getting lost on my way to the auction house. I can see the world of FFXI in incredible detail in my head as I sit and imagine it.

If video games were a waste of time I wouldn’t have such a reaction to the music from them.

@julie absolutely not a waste of time in of themselves, and also think about how many people got started in computing because of them.
