@llvm Now that nearly a week has passed, perhaps you can handle the psychic damage of learning about Emacs Verilog-Mode: https://www.veripool.org/verilog-mode/. There have been Verilog build systems that run emacs as a build tool in order to preprocess AUTOs with Emacs.
