@calebccff I had a miserable time with DDR5 on my 7950x. I would constantly crash due to memory corruption during allmodconfigs type loads or if I left my box running overnight. Had to enable whatever AMD calls XMP for my system to be stable.

@calebccff I thought I had bad ram, so I went out and bought another kit (both corsair vengence kits, one 5600 MHz and one 6000 MHz) that also had the same issues. I ran the thing with one stick only until I tried XMP-but-not-XMP on a whim. Board is an Asus X670E-F.

@calebccff I even ended up bricking my LUKS filesystem at one point because the header got corrupted and written to the disk & I fucked up trying to fix it manually!
