TIL: even if you've switched your Android phone off, I'd it's not in DND mode, it'll boot to ring your alarm. Freaking perfect I'd you're in the cinema or on a plane.

@coldclimate at work yeeears ago the company switched from blackberries to iPhones all on one day.
I was on the early shift and the box of phones all turned themselves on at 6, 6:30, 7, or other half hour multiples to set the alarm off. And none could have the alarm turned off because they were passcode protected!

I put the box in a cupboard in another room.

@coldclimate So I just tried this on my Pixel 7...it stayed cold and quiet. It seems that not all Android phones do that.
