@corbet is there any way for a LWN subscriber to get a full-text RSS feed, rather than just headlines? I'm aware of external tooling like https://github.com/tulir/lwnfeed for that purpose but I figured I would quickly check in with you before throwing tooling at the problem.

@gnomon Interesting, I was not aware of that tool...

Anyway, full-text RSS has been on the list for a while; I just have to figure out how to make the authentication work. I'll try to actually get around to that...meanwhile, though, unfortunately, I don't have anything to offer you.

@corbet no worries, thank you very much for the info! I'll use that tool in the interim. Thank you for confirming that the feature is backlogged and not an intentional omission, I'm glad to know that I won't be causing trouble for you. (And as usual I'll pay careful attention to caching behaviour and configuring a polite polling interval.) Thank you for LWN, I love it!
