@ljs i am using it on android with disabled lowmemorykiller, works fine (system process is allowed write to sysrq-trigger with selinux permissive)

@ljs Why would you need tricks to free up your memory if memory is abundant and free? Did they perhaps play you for an absolute fool, sir?

It kills memory hogging processes, which in this case probably means killing Chrome.

@ashtardeza @gabboman the top memory hogging process effectively manually runs the OOM killer (taking into account oom_score_adj etc.).

So probably a chrome tab indeed ;)

@ljs @gabboman ah yes, I didn't realise Chrome runs tabs in separate processes, but that makes total sense.
