I'm surprised that @lwn included what appears to be blatant flamebait as “Development Quote of the Week” this week.

All of the usual suspects (most of whom I have muted) are going to be yelling at each other in the comments… 🍿

@krans @lwn One of my least favorite parts of the whole LWN thing is being afraid to put up certain types of news out of fear of what will happen in the comments section. I believe it is important to not give into that fear, though.

Now, getting a handle on the worst abuses of the comment system is a different question....
