For the past few years I've written an article a year for @lwn but this year I don't seem to have an idea for a topic for one. I'm sure the world will survive despite this.

I like to write, but only when I have something to say. I don't have it in me to write on a schedule. I would not survive as a newspaper columnist.

@liw At least people can learn a lot from your social media posts. That is valuable writing too, even if post length is shorter compared to long deep dives to technical topics.
