My adventures in writing a pinctrl driver today claimed the eMMC on my main dev board as a victim.

I think it was triggered by fixing a bug that was causing only half of IO config to be applied, but the config that I was using was for actually for an sd card (it's what was in the configuration tool) but firmware had reconfigured the IO to use eMMC instead. I guess the original half applied config was tolerable, either the new one was not!
