Jonathan Corbet

So somebody is really convinced that there is an SQL-injection vulnerability lurking in the LWN login form, and they have been employing a small botnet in a determined effort to find it. I'm not hugely worried about the attack, but I still find this kind of thing annoying.

@corbet I’m half expecting lwn to work on flat files with awk scripts so the joke on them if they think it’s using SQL

@archiloque @corbet Not impossible to do, buy also not necessary convenient to make a website which runs in subscriptions, ie. content exclusive to logged in users, work without a database.
