It's so funny how blue is the "safe" color for stuff like trustworthy corporations, and the "default" color for pants (jeans)... then when it's hair, it's suddenly exciting
Brought to you by my endless waffling about choosing a personal color to put on my blog/etc. ... the deep, jewel-toned teal is an eternal favorite, and doesn't feel "default" like blue in isolation.
Choosing one [*shade of it] is so hard, though!! I keep taking pictures of different ones in the wild
@jmorris Oooo, I haven't – seems like one of those shows that's fascinating, but a bit stressful for me. These days I'm all about escapism in fiction lol [*for media with visuals / sound effects – books are much more flexible]
I'd be curious to read/watch that analysis, though, if you find it :)
I have the somewhat amusing issue that, as blue is a color strongly identified with me - eyes, ink, and wardrobe are all predominantly so - I kinda have to have a contrasting hair color that's not blue to have some contrast lol
@munin Hah, makes sense :) I mostly buy black clothes, and go for accessories in blue/black or gold, so now it generally looks cohesive with whatever I throw on~
Helps a lot with conferences and such! I want to re-dye some of my faded black stuff before the season really gets going.
