@jzb That an IPv6-only linux kernel seems like a feasible thing. When I sent the RFC to the mailing I was expecting push back but found the opposite. At netdevconf plenty of people reach out to me to let me know that their workload was already IPv6 pure in their datacenter.

@jzb Have you seen the knod work¹ to create a framework for in-kernel GPU acceleration of network packet processing without having to round-trip through userspace (ROCm/CUDA/OpenCL)?? It looks super cool!

I'm also pretty excited about a feature in development for GoToSocial² that will make it easier to migrate existing instances between Postgres and sqlite3 back-ends.

And emacs 31.x is at pre-test 31.0.91³!

@jzb Someone here posted recently that they haven't been able to get their hands on a modern open source clone of MS Access - and I can't help but keep thinking about how useful a pure text MS Access clone could be, using SQLite as the back end file.

It would mostly come down to setting a consistent data table convention, and thinking hard about a really usable text interface...

@EdTheDev I guess LibreOffice Base doesn't fit their use case? I never really used MSFT Access.
