@bendee1010 yes I think you're right, there's a psychological aspect but possibly also road-worthiness, like chucking a USB-B in the back in the dark is not going to break anything, a mini or god forbid micro would have.

A usb-c would probably be fine but fiddly, so again probably just practicality on that front
