Today we had our warmup ride, a 12 mile ride to check out our provided bikes and get the feel of the navigation app. I unfortunately didn't realize I needed to download the European maps from my computer at home into my Garmin. I'll have to use plan B, RideWithGPS on my phone.
It was a gorgeous day, and they provided me a real nice carbon road bike with electronic shifting that took about a mile to get used to. It will be a good week.

@MartyCormack the newer Garmin head units can fetch maps on their own (via WiFi, with no computer). It's slow and unreliable, but I've gotten it to work before.
