@mdrips you absolutely do not need to pay for a new subscription. all previous subscribers are still subscribed!
@hugh it's been transferred. you should be able to sign in at the new site under that email and see your subscription in the "Account" section.

@molly0xfff I'd very much like to hear about your migration process and the specific changes you have made to your Gost / Mailgun setup. What did you choose as your comments integration?
I'm myself hosting on Ghost but not yet leveraging the subscription/newsletter parts in large part because some things don't quite "click" for me. (not that anyone reads my stuff, but it would be nice to let them sign up 😉)
@jjcelery I'll be publishing on that shortly! the comments are ghost's built-in commenting feature. I believe it does require you to have the members feature turned on, though.

So my subscription transferred but my billing info (credit card) didn't. So auto-renew wouldn't have worked. Took two minutes for me to fix that (signed in, on the site, opened the email link back to the site, entered data on the account tab to relink my payment method).
Just a heads up in case it's not just me.
