ZOOM AMS-24 is easily my favorite USB audio interface ever:

https://www.zoom-europe.com/products/ams-24-audio-interface-for-music-streaming

It has couple of features done right:

- Has a physical switch for everything that can be configured in that small box (48V, direct monitor, loopback etc.) i.e., no need to use Focusrite Control or similar weird programs to turn a switch on or off.
- Does not have MIDI :-) MIDI ports should not really exist in any sound card as it is a completely different problem space with its own disjoint set of latency challenges.

Sequencing hardware is becoming popular again but that requires a high quality MIDI hub i.e., not USB ports in a sound card.
