I was recently testing @postmarketOS but I found it slow and hard to use on my phone.
Few years ago I had really good experience with
I have found @capyloon that is fork of Mozilla mobile system.
It's there any way to install on ?

@Precz @postmarketOS You can run it on a pinephone on top of Mobian, but there is no @postmarketOS build so far. Also, most hardware apis are not implemented on "mainline linux" so you will only get wifi connectivity (no telephony).

I think it would make a lot more sense to improve the linux mainline builds instead of the android ports, but as always, it's a matter of getting people to hack on it!

@capyloon @postmarketOS thanks for answer.
You're doing great job!
I'll try to explore more.

@Precz @postmarketOS @capyloon Fun. I'm actually playing with FirefoxOs now. I got Geeksphone Keon, which I like because it is small. You may be able to get some hardware running FirefoxOS, either old one running original FirefoxOS, or something running KaiOS (spelling?).

@Precz @capyloon @postmarketOS Yep, that would be cool, but likely a way too much work. I'd be happy if it was possible to buy open phones of similar size, but...
