A question for the #spanish speakers: if I address someone in the formal "usted" form, will that person:
1) Potentially want me to address them in the informal "tu" form instead?
2) If so, how will they likely tell me that they want that change?

rvr@floss.social@major Yeah, I would say that’s quite common in some countries. The most reply could be along the lines of «no me llames "usted", puedes tutearme».
