Wheelchair manufacturer of the SMOOV locks the top speed of the chair unless you pay an extra fee. Disgusting. I hope someone reverse engineers it and publishes how to unlock it

@mjg59 @lizzard @kendraserra I'm guessing they probably mentioned that the triennial rulemaking is underway, meaning no petitioning for an exemption allowing you to unlock your own damn wheelchair until 3 years from now. :/ https://www.copyright.gov/1201/2024/

@riana @mjg59 @lizzard I was not focusing on this particular use case - I don't know the personal device/disability exemptions well enough to remember if there is one that might be helpful! But anyway 1201 sucks.
