@drewdevault 100%. At least they still use the bot identifier in the user-agent, making it possible to do a string match and 403 them to all heck.

While I see a lot of complaints about mostly China and Russia, in my experience the biggest source of annoyance (spam, DDoS, etc.) is USA, by a huge margin.

My best anti-spam move has been to block registration to my services using a .com e-mail address.
