My new e-ink tablet working well!

@ljs I would love to buy a drawing tablet someday to make quick notes on PC. It seems so handy. Is the one you have connected to PC or a tablet on its own? Does the e-ink screen work well for notes (drawing "random" lines all over the display) or does it suffer from lots of flickering?

@thomy2000 Independent, no flickering at all for a modern one, and on this one (supernote nomad a6x2) non-perceptible latency.

It feels like paper, they have a cover on the screen that has a textured effect. It's the closest thing to paper I've seen so far it's quite amazing.

Paper + you can copy/paste things, move them around, undo/redo, etc. :)

@level2wizard there's cheaper options out there, especially 2nd hand. Yeah this one is pricey, but a long-term investment (it is built to last with replaceable battery, etc. basically the framework of e-ink tablets).

@ljs Definitely these are good ideas, but not for my use case. I'm still trying to get phone repair, replace dishwasher, and (in my wildest imaginations) a second vehicle to support me/partner/kids/etc.

I did end up finding a used versaboard through the friends/family network based on knowing about this category of product, so on the plus side I learned a few things :D

If I'm ever in an enterprise/corporate job again I will request this + the company laptop

@level2wizard yeah an e-ink tablet is 100% a luxury to be honest but worth checking to see what's on ebay, I'm sure you've seen it but older models of things tend to plummet in price after new models are out + bargains are there to be had!

Best of luck with the rest! :)
