I propose referring to "open-core" software as "open-sore" -- it will intentionally bleed you unless you pay for the enterprise version.

@monsieuricon sounds like OPA, which is CNCF, so Linux Foundation….
Rule update costs a lot of cpu, enterprise version has real types instead of reflections and costs you a lot less cpu. In some test clusters I saw scale out to max because of rule updates without any extra load.
