Finally finished. That "git clone" took about 7.5 hours. But it worked.

@jarkko I'm not sure I have the time to try different tools and approaches for this in my free time, but I'm happy to walk people through my process next week, or I'm happy to take a contract to work on this on paid time. Ahem.
