To use this feature, Aziz continued, the first step is to mount the msharefs filesystem. A process will then create a file on that filesystem and map it as MAP_SHARED.

In UNIX, everything is a file. In Linux, everything is a filesystem.

@oleksandr People said that about plan 9. Seems like Linux is stealing some ideas, but probably not enough of them.
