@drewdevault@fosstodon.org I know I probably pester you a lot about Bunnix, but I have a question that's related to Bunnix but not at the same time. If you were to pick a collection of resources for people to get into kernel development what would you link? I read that you had used some lessons learned in Helios to help you somewhat. My question is for anyone looking to do a project like this what should they be versed in? I have some misc knowledge regarding certain subsystems of kernels but it's still hard for me to visualize where to start a kernel. I don't think I'll get nearly as far as you but I am curious to if it's really as daunting as my mind makes it seem.

@drewdevault Ok, got the cdrom version. It boots in qemu, nice. Login: guest? No. root works. But doom does not, sh gives an error :-(.
