Hey, is there anyone in or at least germany who thinks they are able to fix my bricked and ? I have multiple and I managed to brick them all after experimenting with and for a while. I don't know how I managed to so consistently brick them.. I tried some stuff recommended on xda devs and other forums but never got them to work again.

@der_istvan this sounds unusual... maybe @cas has some ideas for how to recover

@der_istvan
I am not there but the last resort when i bricked mine was the Oneplus recovery tool on Windows (baremetal, no VM). Did you try that already?

@der_istvan well i would try, cause i do it a lot and having fun with it. But nothing to promise...

@chfkch only in a vm. would have to first get my hands on a baremetal windows install..

@der_istvan
That took me the longest time also. Then trying out different versions/drivers for 1,5 hours and it was done.

@der_istvan you can download one of the msm download tool qfil packages, extract it using opscrypto.py from

https://github.com/bkerler/oppo_decrypt

and then use edl to flash on Linux

https://github.com/bkerler/edl

like edl qfil rawprogram0.xml .,.... don't remember exactly otoh.

it is impossible to permanently brick these devices, but it can be annoying to figure out what's wrong. I'd be curious to know what behaviour they exhibit currently.

@craftyguy @der_istvan @cas Yeah, actually. So mine is not brick, but Droidian is all I can boot, and and got two "red" warnings per boot. So... some help would be welcome, too :-).
