Thank god fedi has mute and unfollow, the incredibly patronising and religious sounding rhetoric of those who blinded themselves to Biden's total incapacity have learnt absolutely nothing and
are just doing more of the same.

Get real and stop acting like one of the two parties is the holy source of all wonder. Learn to be like Brits who hate all politicians even the ones we vote for...

Obviously I think Trump would be a disaster but that doesn't mean I think the democrats are wonderful, they're just the less awful choice.

A party who have manged to put forward two of the most unlikeable presidential candidates in recent history for what were obviously internal party entitlement reasons.

And if I read another fucking post telling me, TELLING ME mind you how I must think and behave I'll fucking scream.

What is it with people on here thinking they have a right to do that??

@ljs it still takes something to go out with some grace, nothing but respect to Biden

@ljs
I don't know what their problem is. In *my* case it's because God appointed me thought-dictator.

@pony don't agree, he resisted it right up until the point it became unviable... And not sure 'grace' is a word I'd use to describe his performances.

@ljs haha, also, i'm not sure if it looks that way to americans, but biden's demeanor is the most fucking trumpy thing ever besides that of trump himself

i guess the case everywhere, that smugness and arrogance sells. but he's smug in a way so similar to trump that it's uncanny

(if i were in that position, i'd 100% vote and campaign for him. we've seen both of them in action)

@ljs nah, the guy’s strength was always being relatable to the common man, who of us would accept that we are no longer good enough, he did without a scene

@ljs not really? I have old parents and had older grandparents, they were cool until at some point they were not (ok maybe not my parents)

@pony Biden fucking relatable to the common man?? 🤣 Super rich guy privileged from the start, super establishment and expected to be handed the presidency if not that some incredibly senior position.

Wow so relatable. That sounds just like my life!

And he's with it enough to realise he screwed up that debate but decided to just carry on anyway... there's nothing graceful about it.

My grandmother had Alzheimer's, I mean I don't think that's relevant?

@pony @ljs /me types poweroff into a server shell instead of the laptop, reaches for a club mate and drinks from the bong, types make to build a meson project, calls his buddy mom, tripple checks chip polarity and still installs it backwards, looks at biden on TV *oh boy that man is demented*

@lkundrak @pony I substitute random words for each other and you have only to look at my code to see how demented I am

Maybe I'm so demented I don't see how normal it is to be demented.

@ljs @pony

umm, this pops into my mind: https://youtu.be/N3jWQFXhgEc

(yeah, it was part of the campaign and not spontaneous but it was nice nevertheless)

@djasa @pony it's nice but you have to realise this guy lives a life utterly unlike nearly any normal person and has done for his whole life more or less
