@dougmerritt ohh maybe I'll try this. I need to get it resized or buy a replacement. 6 week to resize and wife not happy with me not having a ring for that time though...

@ljs It was white “gold”. As it turned out they add other metals to the alloy to make it white.

@vitaut yeah of course, I mean any ring will be an alloy anyway of course so the other metals can fuck with you I sort of thought that the second I sent it :P
Perhaps white gold specifically bad for reactions though.
Anyway sounds non-fun. Though it'd sort out my issue if it happened to me?
