Do you like sex? YOU'RE THE PROBLEM WITH THIS COUNTRY, says the freakyfreaky, clammy-handed incels at the Heritage Foundation who can't wait to surveil your periods, architects of Trump's Project 2025, WHICH WILL PUT AN END TO ALL THAT "senseless" use of birth control.
@stevesilberman this is a real winning message for them, Steve, it sure would "own" us "woke" "libs" if they made this a centerpiece of their messaging, boy howdy I sure hope they don't do that
@stevesilberman
Consequentiality FOR WHOM??
it's the new "states' rights TO DO WHAT?"
@stevesilberman
I guess we need a wise white man to tell us what sex is supposed to be for
@stevesilberman
Hahaha, what a great platform! I thought they meant something else when they said they were pro-creationists.
it's a good time to tell people using fertility tracking apps to DON'T. anything that beacons back to a server will put their medical information out in the open for vulture capitalists to feast on. it might even but their lives at risk.
@stevesilberman I bet those people are so much fun at parties
@stevesilberman @blogdiva Unfortunately, this tweet is real. Itβs from May 27, 2023. https://x.com/Heritage/status/1662534135762624520
@stevesilberman Simultaneously complaining about hypergamy while insisting women be subject to random pregnancies.

log28 (A simple no-frills period tracker)

no remote tracking, no remote reporting. all local data storage.
@stevesilberman itβs a weird way for them to try to cope with not getting laid.
Not weird. Thatβs not the right word. Destructive, a-scientific, cruel, optional and dumb way.
@blogdiva @stevesilberman
100% this. Any app that collects data *will* share that data with law enforcement and you can be sure it will come to that with Republicans.
@jessienab @blogdiva I like this. I wonder if it's worth disguising an app like this as a bible verse app at this point.
@cargot_robbie it is open source, so there are possibilities in that sense.
@jessienab I'm taking a look at the code. I haven't worked on an Android app since Nexus devices were a thing, but maybe I can make something at least a little covert.
