I’m looking to buy a tablet that’s running a mainline kernel with most hardware working and not too old. Why does this feel like an impossible task?

@rumpel it's not in community, but https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Xiaomi_Mi_Pad_5_Pro_(xiaomi-elish) has had continuous kernel upgrades for months. Would be my best for a nice mainline tablet, if available second hand where you live

@rumpel Is this too old? https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Lenovo_IdeaPad_Duet_Chromebook_(google-krane) (ASUS also made some similar, but slightly nicer, models that are supported, too. Camera does not work, but otherwise these are fine and very affordable.)
