physical pain, complaining, programming metaphor

Various body parts just randomly hurting is not helpful. Why are human bodies so obscure?

I wish my body could give me useful debug-output... actually telling me what went wrong and why... please give me a stack trace, not just "Error: ouch" 🥺

@flauschzelle if you finally get one, the stack trace: all debug information has been stripped, no symbols are available anywhere, the code is an absolute mess with various layers of deprecated and unmaintained cruft accumulated over many year…deca…millenia of organic growth.

@flauschzelle@chaos.social I hate that my body just goes "Segmentation Fault (Core Dumped)". Thanks, body. Can you be a little more helpful than that? No? Just that? Well... Can do I do anything about it? You don't know? Well ... At least I can reproduce it, right? What do you mean no?
How am I supposed to do anything about it then?

I feel you. It sucks. It does not happen very often, but when it happens..... It really, really sucks.

@flauschzelle Hehe, funny. I often get pretty exact feedback from my body. "You fell off horse, that's ok. Your leg hit his hooves on the way down, that's not ok. Please don't do that again. You can walk, so nothing broken, but you have around 3 hours before you won't be able to walk any more. Recommendation: get to bed by than." :-)
