not sure why it's so common to refer USB flash drives simply as 'USB' in Korea.

once I asked my friend:
me: Can I borrow your USB flash drives?
friend: Why are you saying like that? you can just ask to borrow 'USB'
me: Well, USB is just a bus specification...
friend: What... (she gave a really weird look)

@hyeyoo Natural languages are not logical, because they are primarily a social phenomenon. I'd even argue that the primary function of language is performative, not denotative, but that's up to discussion.

Anyway, we have to live with it. And keep it mind when considering ways to interact with an LLM. Or just forget all about LLMs; that's actually my favourite.
