I'm afraid the watch was just the first of many devices I'm going to get. Trapped. 😅

@sesivany I've been running with that band for about a year and it's been a good one. 👏

@major two of my colleagues already have it and I was like: "I'm fine with the watch, I don't mind if the heart rate is a few % off."
"But it gives you more data about your run, whether it's symmetrical etc."
"More data, you said more data?! Garmin, shut up and take my money." 😄

@sesivany Haha, the extra data intrigued you, too! 😅

I did like the respiration counter, too. I have no idea how it collects that.

I told you it was the first of many devices. 🙈

@jjcelery Sort of. It flashes faster when the Ring (a car) gets closer to it and tells Sauron (the cyclist). 🙂

@sesivany Do you have a bike computer as well? Without it, the radar doesn't make much sense, because it's hard to control from a watch and you might not even notice the car passing alert.

@lukasvac no, not yet. I use a cell phone instead. The radar works well with the phone. My rides are not long enough for the phone to run out of battery, so at the moment I don't see a reason for a bike computer, but I may change my mind in the future.

@sesivany Right, I forgot about that. I also used to use the radar with my phone. Locus Map for Android can fully replace a bike computer. It has great maps, navigation, and recording, but it can also connect to external sensors (HRM, speed, cadence) and the radar.

@lukasvac so I tested it today and although it's best on the phone, getting notifications on the watch is quite OK, too. It vibrates, beeps, and the screen turns on. I never really missed any notification. For short rides it will be just fine. For longer rides, I'll use the phone and maybe a bike computer in the future.

@sesivany 😂 Dobře jedeš a ne
ní to tempe zbytečný, když máš hrudní pás a hodinky?

@luke__666 to umí ANT? Jak často to teplotu aktualizuje?

@archos

@sesivany @archos bluetooth. cas se da, tusim, nastavit od 10 sec vyse. do aktivity to pak namaluje grafy teploty a vlhkosti:

@luke__666 @archos Zajímavé. To musím někdy vyzkoušet.
