Installing on a go 2. For , because it has a special setup (IPU3).

Set BIOS to boot from USB stick? Still boots windows.

You have to boot Windows with the stick in and select a special "Linpus Lite" reboot option.

Except if the stick is in while Windows is running, it will get corrupted and fail verification.

And then the installer aborts while formatting 'device is in use'.

resists being removed → fsck ,.

@dcz I got Thinkpad 10 tablet (gen1). No video now, but at least it has been rooted already. It has Atom CPU, any idea for easy check if it has IPU3? It has autofocus back camera...

@pavel Easiest way to check if it's *not* IPU3 is to check lsusb.

If the cameras are listed, it's not IPU3.

Otherwise I'm not sure, but the ACPI tables would probably list the hardware.

@dcz I did that. lsusb did not show anything suspicious, IIRC. I guess I'll have to dig deeper.

@dcz Disabling Secure Boot should help. (Or trying Ubuntu, I recall that worked with Secure Boot on.)
