So this is from Asus Meteor Lake laptop with screen off and I'm logged in remotely over ssh.

@alpinelinux running Linux 6.12.

I say impressive. I think Intel CPU's have better energy management than AMD.

@as400 @alpinelinux Assuming it is accurate :-). It would not be first time battery meters not working properly in edge case.

I can't be sure of course. So not able to tell one way or the other.

But considering the fact that, while it sleeps, it uses like almost no battery - it might be actually true. I was very surprised when overnight it used around 3% of battery (while asleep).

Also I have some CPU pinning done. For instance waybar is pinned to two low-power cores. So it doesn't wake up big ones.
