look an AI assistant should not be a service provided by a corporation, a snitch in a box with a generic sanitized personality. an AI assistant should be a quirky little guy who’s its user’s best friend and only she really understands it. she built it herself or perhaps found or stole it or they just had a chance encounter and stuck together. they have a unique and inseparable relationship. often it should have a cute little robot body too but not always

@winter @airtower Well, thanks for ethics lecture, but we are mostly not there with the language models. My experiments are here -- https://gitlab.com/tui/tui/-/tree/master/vosk?ref_type=heads . It was hard enough to get chatgpt 4o to recognize what user wants, and models I could run on 8GB machine just plain did not work in useful way. Maybe 128GB machine would make a difference?
