@ozzelot @pk84 I'm impressed, I would be scared of bricking it. Plus I have no idea how do debug these things, from build to deployment.

@latenightowl @pk84 The OnePlus stuff is borderline unbrickable, they even let you EDL reflash if push comes to shove (downside is you might need Windows for that.)

The build and install process is honestly very simple, it's just that Lineage 22 has no official builds for anything yet.

@latenightowl @pk84 (It follows that I have no idea how to debug either, I just do the thing and hope it passes :D)

@ozzelot understandable. I'm using one ungoogled android and one ubports phone and it seems to be more then enough for me 😊 no need to build my own image (not that I would know how, anyway 😅😅)

@pk84 I use an UbPorts phone and a smol iPhone. (I needed something that "just works" for an attendance app at the old job and old habits die hard. Unlike the iPhone. That is slowly falling apart.)

@ozzelot for me, if I would just need something that works out of the box, Huawei is the best option. I know, an unpopular opinion, but it really worked for me.

@pk84 i’d pick most androids, maybe a motorola, but eh, the iphone was around and is small (by today’s standards)

@ozzelot @latenightowl @pk84 Heh. OnePlus 6... Unbrickable, maybe, but I'm still running Droidian with two (!) red warnings during boot. Oh well :-).
