The biggest danger of learning North Germanic languages like Norsk is realizing that Ikea furniture names are actually pretty dull. Like, did you know that "blåhaj" is literally just "blue shark?"

it's actually a feature! employees don't need to memorize random numbers to identify the products.

furthermore, the names are categorized on which type of product it is. products named after norwegian places, for instance, represents beds and wardrobes

@monsieuricon Swedish is even more exciting for German speakers: You recognize many words (blåhaj = Blauhai), but you can never guess the right pronunciation.
