@devopscats they have always been terrified (along with the rest of big tech), the memo sent out to google engineers about 2 years ago is very telling on this subject

Same happens in every country. China blocks Tiananmem, UK buries stuff like the battle of the beanfield, or rewrites history (eg Orgreave). Until it's an open AI project trained openly on open data it'll be questionable - and if you train it on biased open data it'll likewise be oblivious to systemic government coverup and lying in the input data
