Did you know that in the early 1990s, shortly before the first smart phones dropped, "smart calculators" were poised to become the hubs of our of digital lives?

@lcamtuf I loved my TI-82 for this reason. Even installed a “shell” that would run games that were written in assembly — some quite good! Biggest downside was it didn’t have a clock so it couldn’t do calendars or reminders… 😅🧮
