Bought tiny person a small, technically above ground pool (it's 6ft across and 1.5ft deep) for her birthday. It's shaped like a flamingo and is actually quite cool. She was really excited about it on her birthday, but it was tooo cold to use it. Today I cleaned it ready to use because its warm... Too late. She's already on the computer. So I sat in it myself and so that's how I bought myself a giant flamingo paddling pool.

Seriously though,it's lovely, and nice to know we have a way to cool off when it's 40c in the house this summer.
I need to get a mini pool filter for it so the water doesn't go nasty as it took ages to fill, but for now, I'm using a watering can to empty it and use the water for my garden, so it's being recycled.

@monsieuricon oh damn. I didn't even consider that as a thing that could happen 😬
I don't think we get racoons in our garden, as I've not seen or heard any around, and I think the dog would have realised long before us.
The pool just has an inflatable ring around the top, the rest is like a really thick tarp.

@Teaceratops yeah, we learned it the hard way. Every inflatable pool we left outside was immediately ruined by raccoons biting through the vinyl siding (for fun? because they are jerks?)
