Putin, the puppet master, needed just a few hours to get Trump back on track. He (Trump) will now sell to Zelensky and NATO that a cease-fire is not needed, that "real talks" between US, Russia and Ukraine will start some time in a not too distant future, totally promised, sanctions are not a topic any longer. Putin wins. All it took was saying to Trump that he totally wouldn't have started the war when he would have been president. Le Sigh.
