I wonder what would be a good phone to install postmarketOS in. something that could be used as an everyday phone.

@kitten I use a PinePhone, not very powerful but works. OnePlus 6T seems to be popular from what I hear, but I can’t speak from experience there. You probably already found the devices list? In the end it depends on what you need from an everyday phone.

@airtower yip, I had that feeling too. the devices list is useful, although a bit difficult to use when one wants to filter depending on device specs neocat_laugh_sweat

@kitten True, though good device specs won’t help you much if the nice hardware isn’t well supported in software. I assume an “everyday phone” isn’t one where you have to fix a bunch of drivers or something. neocat_laugh_sweat

@airtower no but I wanted some “simpler” high-end device specs free having a big screen, or… having a big screen would be it, actually

@airtower @kitten You won't get working camera from anything usable but PinePhone. OnePlus 6 is best option if you don't need camera, but need more than PinePhone performance.
