@MishaalRahman I wonder when/if they'll have MTE inside of the VM
@MishaalRahman when I got that VM possibility on my phone I thought "why not?" and played with it.
Then removed it to gain storage back.
Why would I have to use VM on small phone screen when I can use Arm vm on computer with normal screen instead?
Textmode on phone sucks, graphical desktop on such small screen with fingers as input device? Hell, no.
@hrw @MishaalRahman it's mainly intended for desktop Android which is coming next year
@never_released @MishaalRahman
After playing with a few attempts to run "Android Desktop" (Samsung Dex, Huawei Shit etc.) I am not surprised that someone gave up on trying.
And gave "let run normal desktop in vm" as alternative.
@pavel @MishaalRahman like I said: played with it in the past. Android sucked terribly on bigger screen.
Will see how bad it will be.
@hrw @MishaalRahman if you set up an ssh server it could be useful? Let's say you are the type of person that only has an x86_64 machine but no aarch64 machine. My primary aarch64 development machine was a Raspberry Pi for years, as sad as that is.
