I suppose I don't want to read https://lore.kernel.org tonight...

@bagder just set your browser to identify as curl. ;)

You probably have some kind of client side restriction. I wish we didn't have to resort to using this, but we were dying under abusive crawler onslaught.

@monsieuricon this is a plain Firefox on debian unstable, nothing weird at all

@bagder Strange. The fact that even the mascot isn't loading suggests that something is going very wrong. What does "lore.kernel.org" resolve to for you (it's actually 5 different systems depending on where in the world you are).

@monsieuricon 172.234.120.38 (my IPv6 is not working atm so it won't connect to that)

@monsieuricon some js URLs return 503s which I suppose might explain it

@bagder it helps that you get the Stockholm frontend -- it doesn't see a lot of traffic. Any change now?

@monsieuricon still looks the same. in the network console Firefox shows this URL getting a 503 which sounds bad: https://lore.kernel.org/.within.website/x/cmd/anubis/static/js/worker/sha256-purejs.mjs?cacheBuster=1.22.0

@bagder Yeah, wish I was able to replicate that. I do see the 503 in the logs, but it seems to be tied to one IP (which I assume is yours).

@monsieuricon no worries, it is not important for me now

@bagder no worries. I'll poke at this some more, it's bugging me. If you're still willing to try something, open an incognito window in firefox and see if you have the same result.

@bagder Nice, this means you have a bogus cookie that is messing things up somehow and clearing cookies in your main browser should unblock you.

@monsieuricon there was a single cookie set for kernel.org in my browser. I removed it.

Now lore.kernel.org works again for me. Thanks!

@bagder Great! Obviously, a bad cookie shouldn't break things. I'll report this to Anubis upstream.

@monsieuricon @bagder i encountered this problem as well on lore.kernel.org using Firerox. Anubis on the search URL for lists did not let me pass. But on the homepage i went through, and afterwards it worked on the other URL as well.

@monsieuricon @bagder FWIW, I had the same issue with lore yesterday - simply force-reloading the page in Firefox helped.
