I'm still searching for small phone ... or maybe smartwatch with GSM functionality? No-name stuff can be as cheap as EUR15 or so... Do you have good experience with any such hardware? I guess it is not exactly easy to run own software on something like that :-(.

@erebion Well, I'm currently using GeekPhone Keon as my primary phone. I need voice calls and SMS, but use different devices for web browsing etc. And I'm thinking about replacement, and would like to run my own software there. Bangle.js2 or Linux...

@pavel I advise against buying anything which has a Chinese dictatorship CPU or Chinese dictatorship firmware. I would expect backdoors and spying not known to the public. I think EUR15 no-name stuff is likely to be manufactured in Chinese dictatorship.
