@ollieparanoid Thanks, I did try this at FOSDEM but the CPU usage came back sadly. I'll give it a shot next time it happens :)

@pavel by any chance were you experiencing something similar to me, or was the gsd-color process itself the one maxxing out a core?

@allpurposemat @ollieparanoid It was gsd-color itself... and stopping it did not seem to have ill effects.

@pavel @ollieparanoid Aha, so unfortunately different issue. For me it's always gnome-shell (somewhere in JS) eating my battery/warming my hands.

@pavel @ollieparanoid Yeah I just got the bug again, killing gsd-color sadly didn't return CPU usage to normal. So it's definitely something else.

@allpurposemat @ollieparanoid In my case it was plain to see -- I did top, and gsd-color was just sitting that at 30% (?) of cpu. So I SIGSTOPed it :-). You probably don't have same issue.
