I would like to give whomever invented mushroom pizza a firm handshake
β
@Dio9sys Fun Fact:
Mushroom pizza got it's name from the mushrooms you add to the pizza!
@Dio9sys While who invented pineapple pizza should get a throat-shake.
@luc0x61 pineapple pizza is perfectly fine! Now, feta pizza...
@Dio9sys
Consider: mushroom and pineapple pizza π
(aka Hawaiian with mushroom no ham)
@Dio9sys is that because you like the pizza and you want to congratulate the person. or is it because you want to get your hands on that person and then do your worst? π€
@renedario They deserve some one of those named benches in a public park
@luc0x61 @Dio9sys Well .. sauce hollandaise is a very thick sauce, maybe even some bit like a mayo, but on butter base.
I (as a northern german) know it from our traditional and saisional white asparagus. ;)
It's just pure umami .. (and a good amount of fat for sure .. but uh, somewhere all the flavour needs to go;)).

Heh lol ..... it basically _is_ sort of a mayo .. just with added butter. ;)
@hackbyte @Dio9sys I just did a research π And found some pictures as well π
Now, the sauce is a bit too much, but I would try it. Normally I don't add mayo on pizza. There's a city here in Italy where they are obsessed by mayo on every pizza - the first time there I asked "But why??". π
Beside topping, the base is important to me, being it fragrant as in Naples, or thin as in many other places, but not chewy, gummy as some industrial ones!
@luc0x61 @Dio9sys Actually ... yes.. omfg .. srsly .. i would never even remotely think about putting mayo on a pizza..... srsly not ..... Give me kebab meat, give me olives, tuna, fecking salmon, pineapple, mushrooms or somtething else exotic ... but mayo?
Uff no ......
Sauce Hollandaise on the other hand .... uhm...... ;)
