@ljs I am sorry to hear that. I assume there isn't a proper mechanism to fight this.

Anyway, I will try to make it less thankless at least. I really appreciate the work that MM maintainers/sub-maintainers do.

Thank you so much <3

@ffmancera thanks, good to know there's at least 1.

I just feel extremely done. I think too many people prefer there to be no standards and to accept everything.

The sub-maintainers who do the work have no actual influence with the 'maintainer' who has the power.

It has to change radically but I don't see that happening.

@ljs There's nothing more frustrating than something that doesn't change no matter how hard you try, especially when it's something you're really passionate about and care about deeply.

More than anything, I just wish you wouldn't burn yourself out and would take a little rest :'(

I really appreciate and keep being impressed by what you and David have been doing, but at the same time I can't help worrying that you're taking on too much of a burden...

@hyeyoo we've repeatedly fed back that the current situation causes burnout and have effectively been told to fuck off.

So it's either burn yourself out or allow any old crap to land which you later have to deal with.

It's very broken

@hyeyoo and to add to that, we're now being told, out of the blue, that all the things we asked for CAN be done, but not for human reviewers, only for a fucking LLM...

@ljs

that's awful indeed.

the maintainer should transfer some power and responsibilities (ok, this is already...) to rightful folks and trust/respect them :/
