how do you replace broken fedora wget with normal wget that doesn't rewrite your terminal backlog?

@karolherbst If I do wget on Fedora, my scrollback goes away. If I do wget on macOS, my scrollback does not go away. Ergo: Fedora is doing something different with wget that makes my scrollback go away and I want it to not do that anymore.

@cadey I gave up on wget and finally switched to curl.

@monsieuricon
there is also wcurl, for a more wget-like experience:)

@srtcd424 @monsieuricon with all due respect, if I wanted to use curl, I'd use curl. Sometimes you actually need to use real wget for things.

@cadey @srtcd424 sure, I wasn't implying that you should completely abandon wget -- I was just noting that for a quickie "grab this file and save it" I've switched to using curl.
